Jaguars Demolish Saints

With the Silverdale’s’ Whalin' Days nearby demolition derby as background noise the King County Jaguars were having their own demolition derby on the football field as the Jaguars racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense demolishing the West Sound Saints 48-0.

Jaguar offensive leaders, QB Leo Dickerson threw for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns and QB James Phillips threw for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. WR Michael Bush hauled in 6 receptions for 111 yards and 1 TD while RB Vernon Word ran for 80 yards with one 25 yard pass reception for a TD. Word had 105 yards of total offense.

The Jaguar’s defense was led by DL Terrance Stitt with 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and DL Shawn Lovelace 5 tackles, 1.5 Sacks.
This brings the Jaguars regular season winning streak to 34 games!!
The undefeated NWFL leading King County Jaguar’s next game is this Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Auburn Memorial Stadium against the Multnomah County Buccaneers. Game time is at 6:00 pm. This will be the first meeting between the Jaguars and Buccaneers since the 2004 season.
